R.V. Thomas received a B.S. Degree in Psychology from Pittsburg State University in 1965.  He was an active member o Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.  He served as President of the Chapter, was member of the Student Governing Board and the Black  Student's Association. R.V. became a Police Officer in 1966, in Kansas City, Ks. R.V. was the father of one child, and was married to Brenda Thomas for four years.  

R.V. past away on February 16, 1970 after a brief illness; he was inducted into the Omega Service Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity in March 1970, for Distinguish Service.
