John Lester Battles

Left KSC Pittsburg in May 1971. Went to Graduate School at KSC Emporia, Ks. Graduated December 1972 / Master's Degree(Sixty Graduate hours Program). Moved to Honolulu, Hawaii to work, learn, and have fun. Started PhD program in Honolulu, Hawaii (Did not complete/might go back). Traveied from Honolulu to different places ... LA, San Diego, Houston, Chicago, Miami, New York, Tulsa, Dallas ... I got lucky. Got much better at basketball skills and relating well with different people. I matured and grew up as a result of different life situations. I got lucky. Moved to San Antonio, Texas in June 1980. Got married on 10-16-1982 in New Orleans, Louisanna. Worked hard to develop and acquire land, building properties, business ownerships ( Ambulatory Surgery center, Pathology Laboratory, Infusion Suite, Research Center, Imaging Center ....) I took chances and got lucky again.

The experiences and situations involved with sports ( basketball ) was significant in my life. Never losing to KSC Emporia,
beating Fort Hays University in Fort Hays, Kansas and seeing the smile on my girlfriends face was great fun,
