Henry Granger

I have worked as a State Employment Service Interviewer-Counselor, a College Counselor-Professor (retired)and a Community Action Agency CEO (retired). I am now a self-employed computer technician, DJ, Private Consultant, Federal Consultant and a Non-Profit Board Trainer for the Federal Government. In my spare time, I am a full-time grandfather, great-grandfather and a first-class loafer.

My fondest memories center around the great frienshships and relationships we all enjoyed in Pittsburg. We experienced healthy athletic, organizational, academic and Greek Competition but when it was over, we resumed life as a loving family. After my freshman year at The University of Nebraska, I was looking for a place to remind me of home. Upon setting foot on the campus, I knew immediately that my mission had been accomplished. How could I ever forget the parties at the "Kool-Aid Shack" and Chuck Dial with his no-dancing self. The people of Pittsburg always looked-out for us and treated us as family. Don't forget Swartz, the security guard-policeman who kept us in line with a gentle hand. The University has honored me twice since graduation by dual Inductions into the University Sports Hall of Fame. The honors and the education received were wonderful but the friendships and relationships will last forever. If God continues to hold me in the palms of His hands, I will see you at the next REUNION whenever and wherever it may be.
