After graduating in "78" Got married, moved to Wichita and went to work for Abbott Labs. which has since been bought by Air Products and Chem. Then purchased by Evonik Chemicals. Me and Sheryl have 3 grown healthy Adults Jacqui(Antonio),Nikki(Kelly) Devon(Armenta)and Grandchildren, Zaniya, Essence, Malia, Jackalia, Alina, Kayden and Alisa. Stay in contact with some of my fellow PSU, KSCP and KSTC-P grads. Active in the CME Church Region Lay Leader for KS/MO 3rd Episcopal Dist. Retired in 2019 after 40 years at the same company. When my Line bro's Mike "ROTC" Brown, Mitchell "Bill" Perry, Matt "Ice-Cube Roberson got dropped off in the Country somewhere outside the city limits of P-Burg. We where Just "lost" and walked towards some lights. We ended up at one of those Private Clubs owned by some Italian Guy. He wouldn't let us in to make a call but he got his driver to drive us back to our apartment. we where drinking Pepsi's and smoking Cigars in the Lincoln Limo. He droped us off behind the Gaslight apt. We walked by one the Big bro's apts. they had the window open and they where all inside laughing at how lost we looked, and how long it was going to take us to get back. We were back in the room and asleep by 11:30. We told the bro's we didn't make it back until 6 am.
Enjoyed being President of the PSU Gospel choir and traveling to sing at programs especially when we sang in KCK at a Church function where Rev. Jesse Jackson was the guest preacher.
Also when I was VP of BSM had a Confunksion concert sponsored by the PSU Stuco.(They thought they were a local band)LOL!
I believe the Class of 1978 was the Largest group of Blacks to graduate at one time from PSU up until that date.
